I’ve been kind of in a slump blog-wise, and even for a bit didn’t drink much tea. Part of that was because it’s been so hot outside, but this week I got back on my daily tea routine and it’s making me feel much better. This morning, I tried a sample I was sent a while ago, the Kathmandu Cosmos blend from Nepal tea.
I’ve written about other teas from them before, and I really love the emphasis they put on ethics and giving back.
Ingredients: Camellia Sinensis (Golden Tips Black Tea), Cloves, Cinnamon Bark, Cinnamon Leaf, Orage Peel, Ginger, Cardamom, Lemongrass, Corriader Seeds, Black Pepper.
Being a huge chai fan, upon opening, I fell in love with the cardamom and turmeric aromas that stood out in this blend. It’s got a lot of the spices in traditional chai but slightly less spicy with a hint of citrus. It’s a nice, comforting blend, perfect for enjoying in a comfy chair with a good book.
