Sunday Funday calls for a dessert tea. As the weather warms, Adagio Teas lemon meringue green, one of their springtime blends, has been one of my go-to sips that I purchased with my spring rep voucher. Even when it’s hot out, there’s still something comforting about a warm cuppa (also my fiance likes to keep the air on kind of chilly so that helps lol). Citrusy vibes give this tea a summertime feel to match the season.
Ingredients: Green Tea, Apple Pieces, Orange Peels, Natural Lemon Flavor, Marigold Flowers, Natural Vanilla Flavor & Natural Creme Flavor.
I love the flavors of lemon, vanilla and creme against the vegetal taste of the green tea. Everything balances out quite well. The lemon is not overpowering, sweet with the tiniest tartness — just a slight citrusy taste, which was surprising seeing as how strong the aroma of it is.
This tea is a light version of the classic dessert, and like many of the other blends I’ve been enjoying from Adagio Teas, it helps satisfy my craving for sweet treats. It’s such a cheerful blend, matching sunny days with the happiness of its flavors. I can’t wait to make a pitcher of it iced!
Let me know in the comments what teas you’ve been enjoying recently, and I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend.
This sounds amazing! I bet it would make a nice latte and it’s probably great for a sore throat
