Let me start out this post by saying that while I love fall, I have to admit I’m not a big pumpkin spice person. I am not crazy about the latte that seemingly started the trend, or having weird pumpkin spiced things. But there’s one thing I’ve made into an annual tradition, and that’s Tazo’s Pumpkin Spice Chai tea.
Ingredients: Black Tea, Black Pepper, Ginger, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves, Star Anise, Natural Flavors), Cane Sugar Syrup, Honey, Ginger Juice, Natural Flavors, Citric Acid.
Last year I picked up a few boxes, and was savoring the last one into the month of May. So as fall products started popping up on shelves, I started searching for one of my favorite fall teas, and finally found it.

This tea is just so tasty to me and makes a good, calorie-free treat if I’m craving sweet fall treats. A lot of people on Steepster didn’t like it, but I enjoy the flavor. It tastes like pumpkin pie, with lots of spices and almost a maple flavor to it that reminds me of waffles (which I love!). Lots of spice is toned down with the smooth, soothing licorice taste of the star anise.
Let me know in the comments below what pumpkin spice teas you enjoy, or if there’s another fall favorite you have.
