Memorial Day is here and that means it’s sundress season! Finally warm enough in the midwest to go without a sweater, and I’m loving it (for now — hopefully it doesn’t heat up too much more too soon). My go-to place for a reasonably priced dress is H&M.
Sunday we went to the local farmer’s market, which is in a nice park not far from my apartment. We also got brunch and ran errands, then grilled some food for dinner later. I wanted to be cute but still casual, so I opted for this H&M jersey dress, styled with a thrifted Levi’s denim vest and my old Minnetonka moccasins (they last forever, I don’t even remember when I purchased them but I think it’s finally time to get a new pair.
I like this dress because it’s comfortable, yet cute and casual. They no longer have it available in this color (though I only bought it two months ago), but I also have it in the red floral print, because I liked the style that much (and it being only $9.99 was also great). It is nice to wear this way for a casual day in the sun, but I usually like to wear it as a long shirt over leggings, since it is a little on the short side.
Also, am I the only person who gets random bruises? I don’t know what’s up with the one on my leg but I’m assuming that I walked into something at some point.
Let me know in the comments what you are most looking forward to about summer!
