Life gets super busy and stressful sometimes, and a few moments of comfort can help you renew and refresh to take on the day. Between freelancing, blogging, working and travel plans, sometimes I feel like I will never have time to get everything done. That’s when I sit down and have a nice cup of floral tea, like Higher Living’s Flower Heaven organic herbal tea.

I stumbled upon this at Homegoods, and it had all my favorites flowers, so at $2.99 for 15 tea bags, I decided it was worth trying.

I’ve had lavender teas and chamomile teas, but this tea is a mix of all my favorite floral herbs. The ingredients are organic whole chamomile flowers, organic lavender, organic cornflower and organic sunflower petals. To me, this tastes like springtime and happiness. It’s not overpowering, it’s comforting and it quickly lowers your stress level. Teas like this are a crucial part of my self care routine.

To prepare, simply steep with freshly boiled water for about 5 minutes. The longer it brews, the more soothing the effects.

Higher Living Herbs is based out of the United Kingdom, and while I never heard of them until stumbling upon this tea, I definitely want to try more of their blends. In addition to this being a great herbal tea to help you calm down or get ready for bed, it comes in a unique, biodegradable “Teapee” for maximum steeping. I’ve tried similar tea bags from other companies and really like how they brew.

The tea itself is also really beautiful, with the pretty purplish-blue cornflower, dark purple lavender and bright yellow chamomile and sunflower petals. I also really enjoy the design of the packaging.

Overall, if you love floral teas, you will be “in heaven” with Flower Heaven. It’s simple, it’s organic and it’s a great tea to drink when things get stressful or you’re trying to fall asleep.

Let me know in the comments what your favorite “relaxing” tea is!
