Review: Enjoy Life dairy, nut and soy free ricemilk crunch

dairy-free-chocolateI think I’ve found my new favorite chocolate. On my journey towards being completely dairy-free, one of the most difficult things to cut has been chocolate.16129684_10210531876120891_848537372_oI love dark chocolate, but even some of that has milk in it (which is kind of ridiculous and deceiving, in my opinion). My go-to is the endangered species chocolate, with the panther on the packaging. We call it Freedom chocolate, because it reminds me of my cat 🙂
But sometimes a crispy Nestle crunch bar sounds good, and that’s where this bar comes into play. 16145398_10210531875880885_1290874394_oThis Enjoy Life “boomCHOCOboom” ricemilk crunch chocolate is amazing! It is all-natural, creamy and sweet, but guilt-free for vegans (if you eat honey) and those with food allergies — it is dairy, nut and soy-free. We found it at Fresh Thyme in South Bend, Indiana, but the bars are also available online in bulk (which seems like a better deal).

Sometimes you need to indulge and treat yourself, and this is great for that. The chocolate is rich and creamy, and I love the rice crunch. If I didn’t know better, I wouldn’t realize this was a dairy-free chocolate. It just tastes great. This company also makes dairy-free chocolate chips, which I have yet to try, but I am pretty confident would be delicious for baking.

Ingredients: Evaporated Cane Juice, Non-Dairy Cocoa Butter, Natural Chocolate Liquor (Non- Alcoholic),Rice Crisps (Rice Flour, Rice Bran, Raisin Juice Concentrate, Honey, Salt), Rice Milk Powder (Rice Syrup Powder, Rice Starch, Rice Flour, Salt), Salt.
