Tea lover’s gift guide

Since I am a self-proclaimed tea lover, I have to talk about tea-themed gifts this month! There are so many fun teas, tea gear and tea-themed items out there, so I’m going to share some of my favorite tea gifts I’ve gotten over the years, as well as things on my tea wishlist.

1. Whimsical tea strainers
Price: $10

One of my favorite Christmas gifts was given to me a few years ago by my good friend Rachel from Life of a BibliophileMr. Tea from Fred and Friends. This fun strainer is great for on the go, and gets so many laughs and smiles. It always cheers me up to prepare my tea with Mr. Tea 🙂 And Fred and Friends has many others to choose from, like a “maniTea,” and a sloth.

2. Electric kettle
Price: varies, $35-50

Last Christmas my boyfriend got me a Bella electric kettle, and while part of the reason was probably that he was tired of the screaming of my stovetop kettle, this has been one of my favorite household items that I use on a daily basis (multiple times a day). The water heats up quickly to the perfect temperature, and I can make tea anytime of day without bothering anyone. There are plenty there to choose from at a variety of prices, and they are a must for any tea lover.

3.  A tea sampler
Price: $24.99

If you know your friend or loved one likes tea, but are either unsure of what kind or want to let them try something new, a tea sampler might be the way to go. Teapigs allows you to pick each tea that is in there, but other samplers out there do the work of selection for you.

4. Tea themed jewelry
$8.00

Etsy is a good go-to place to find adorable, unique items, like tea earrings. I’d love a pair of tea cup earrings, to show off my love for tea. These wooden ones are girly and cute, but there are many to choose from online.

5. A cute tea set
Price: $30.00

An adorable tea set like this one from Francesca’s Closet makes a great gift for the tea lover in your life. I love this one because it has a cat on it (spoiler alert if this is your first visit to my blog — I’m a crazy cat lady), but there are so many fun, cute and reasonably-priced tea sets out there. Also consider visiting your local thrift store to find a lovely vintage set.

6. Tea Tin
Price: $5-12 + the price of choice of tea

Someone who loves tea can never have too many tins to store what they currently own (as well as what they’ll purchase in the future). Teavana has really beautiful tea tins, that make great stocking stuffers and gifts. Give them filled with tea, for a nice gift.

What’s the best tea gift you’ve gotten? Let me know in the comments!
