Life’s a Cup of Tea is on Youtube! + Boston Bohea pekoe black tea review

Hello followers! A special announcement. This week Life’s a Cup of Tea made its Youtube Debut!

In my first video, I introduce myself, talk about my love of tea and my cats make an appearance! Youtube is something I’ve wanted to break into for a while, so I just took a leap and am hoping for the best.

In the video, I’m enjoying the lightly smoked Bohea pekoe black tea I got at the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum last year.

This tea is a smoky black tea. I really like it because it reminds me of our trip, and it was the one of the types of tea they threw into the water during the Boston Tea Party as a political protest to boycott the tea tax. Though they didn’t like this kind and complained it was stale during the protest, I really enjoyed it. I love both the history behind it, and the taste.

Smoky black teas are some of my favorite teas. I don’t know why I waited so long to open and enjoy this tea, but it was great with a full flavor despite being purchased almost a year ago. Steep this tea for about 4 minutes with boiling water, and you won’t be disappointed. It’s energizing and flavorful, reminiscent of the flavor of Celestial Seasoning’s Morning Thunder.

Do you like smoky black teas? Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried this type of tea before, and tell me what you thought of my first video!
