Tea Review Tuesday: Yogi Blueberry Slim Life Green Tea

IMG_9544

There’s nothing better than a cup of tea after a nice, long workout. When I’m done exercising in any form, Yogi’s Blueberry Slim Life Green Tea hits the spot for me. Recommended by my good friend and fellow tea lover Clare La Torre, I am pretty happy with this tea.

My favorite thing about this tea is the taste. It’s flavorful — blueberries mesh well with the green tea, sweetened slightly with stevia leaf. In addition, Billberry Leaf, Hibiscus, Amla fruit, Belleric Myrobalan Fruit and Chebulic Myrobalan Fruit are among the slimming and tasty ingredients. The tea also has garcinia cambogia fruit extract (which is in a tea I was sent and will soon being reviewing) which is said to promote weight loss and boost metabolism.

I notice a difference when I drink this tea after exercise or first thing in the morning: I am less likely to participate in mindless snacking, which is something I’m trying to do less of. It has been very helpful to me lately, on my journey to a healthier life — both physically and mentally. In addition to aiding in my dieting

One of my favorite parts about Yogi tea is the phrases on the tea tags — they always leave me feeling inspired.

struggles, Blueberry Slim Life gives energy, but not too much. The energy from green tea is mild yet productive. I get a lot done with no jitters whatsoever.

To prepare, steep 1-2 tea bags  for 3 minutes. Yogi recommends drinking throughout the day in supporting a diet program and promoting energy. I usually have one or two cups. This tea is great hot, but after an intense, sweat-drenched workout (gross, yes, but that means you’re doing something right) enjoy it over ice for a refreshing treat.

  1. I have yet to try a Yogi Tea I do not like:p I also love their inspiring quotes. It adds to the enjoyment of the tea;) I have tried weight loss teas mainly for the flavors lol I have not noticed a difference in terms of weight for me.

    1. I really think that incorporating teas into your diet in general helps maintain weight and keeps a person healthier. But yes, Yogi has great stuff, glad you agree! What’s your favorite tea by them?

      1. I agree:)
It truly is hard to pick a fave from them lol The one I have been enjoying more recently by them is their Skin Detox Tea because of its unique rose flavor. I actually prefer it cold because it is quite refreshing:p
