From sparkles to strange three-piece outfits and hoop skirt dresses, there were many fabulous and not-so-great looks on the Golden Globes red carpet tonight. These are my top five picks for best-dressed at tonight’s Golden Globes. 1. Viola Davis in Donna Karan Atelier The beautiful Viola Davis wore my favorite look of the evening. I love the idea of old Hollywood glamor, and she achieved just that in this gorgeous red dress with subtle sparkle at the neckline. Her lipstick matched perfectly, and subtle accessories compliment the overall look. I also love her hairstyle — a wavy bob goes perfectly with this gown and ties the entire look together. 2. Jennifer Aniston in Sain Laurent
With a simple but chic look, Jennifer Aniston’s black dress was my No. 2 look from the red carpet tonight. The sequined bodice is gorgeous, but not too flashy. The slit up the leg is tasteful, and she kept the rest of the look simple with drop earrings, and strappy sandals — perfect for a Hollywood night out. 3. Lupita Nyong’o in Giambattista Valli
Lupita Nyong’o always hits the red carpet wearing a work of art, and this dress is no exception. The starlet looks gorgeous in this detailed dress — the color scheme is perfect, on her, and I love the detailing, from the watercolor effect of the fabric to the floral bodice. It’s just a stunning, unique gown, and she looked fabulous. 4. Emma Stone in Lanvin jumpsuit and Chanel makeup
Emma Stone’s look was also unique. Though she wore pants, she still looked feminine and gorgeous. The whole look is elegant; I love the sparkling top, and her makeup also looks great — always a classic, the red lipstick pops among the neutral shades of her ensemble. 5. Reese Witherspoon in Calvin Klein
Reese Witherspoon shined at the Golden Globes Red Carpet, bringing another Hollywood glam look to the red carpet in this sparkling silver dress, with simple wavy hair and limited accessories. Photos courtesy of AP
