There were clearly some trends at this year’s Emmys red carpet. Stars showed up in lots of reds, sparkles, neutrals and navy blue hued gowns. My favorite looks, as seen in this slideshow, were elegant and stylish. Though there was variance in the looks, all of these stars had the right idea.
The ladies in red all looked very classy. Each dress had it’s own style. While Julia Louis Dryfus opted for a more simplistic (yet still extremely chic) style, Kaley Cuoco tried tulle. All six of these starlets had the right idea when it came to sporting red.
Hayden Panettiere looked absolutely beautiful showing off her womanly body in this sparkling gown. Kiernan Shipley’s pale colored dress also glittered a bit, and was very cute on her petite frame. The detail on Kate Mara’s dress was beautiful as well. And for an older woman, Julia Roberts really rocked that short, sparkly dress.
While there weren’t many looks at this award show that I could really say I hated (besides Lena Dunham’s ruffly mess) these ones were my favorites. All of these stars balanced sexy and classy, achieving the kind of old Hollywood Glam seen in red carpets of the most fabulous times in fashion history. Which look was your favorite?
